This is MY story

Hi, I wanted to start my first blog with more of an introduction! I want my blog to be as real and raw as possible, therefore, if swearing or too much TMI is out of the question for you then this may not be the blog for you. I am a very honest and outgoing person, I want people to know how real life can be not only as a twin mom but as someone who went through the best and worst times of her life at the same time. (Yes that is possible!) This is my story and I am excited to share it with you.

I am Caitie, mom of monochorionic diamniotic (Mo-Di) twins. This means that my girls shared a placenta and therefore a blood supply. They occur in 1 in 800 pregnancies, they are not the type of twins that run in families; those twins are called Fraternal whereas mine are Identical.

My pregnancy was completely natural and we got pregnant FAST, when I say fast I mean like 1-time WHAM BAM THANK YOU M’AAM I WAS PREGNANT.

This blog will be me sharing my experience of going through having a sick baby, the mental toll that took, the tips and tricks I learned along the way, the friendships I lost and gained, living in a hospital while still having a healthy baby who needed me, supplying both babies with breast milk, and much MUCH more.

I’m hoping to reach anyone who needs this; Moms, dads, friends, family, etc. ANYONE looking for advice while going through a trauma of their own.

Thank you so much for being here with me and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or want to learn about something that I have not covered along the way!

Please take time to look at my products page, which features charitable items including Baby loss and mental health. I work with a company called PURA VIDA where I ordered a few pieces of jewelry for myself. In return, some of the profits are donated to individual charities.

I have also included more products that helped Gracie during her hospital stay. I will be adding breastfeeding and maternity items soon!
