Do you want to be a FIT MOM?

Something that most of you following my Trauma blog do not know is that I was a personal trainer and bodybuilder before I was a mommy! I worked out for about 2 hours a day, 5-6x a week. Some of these days I would simply run because it allowed me to gather all of my thoughts and just enjoy the outdoors.

I bet that sounds terrible to some of you who absolutely HATE running. I get that, and you do not need to run in order to get fit!


I walked around at about 115lbs at 5'1. I was happy, fit, and definitely not restricting myself from food, having a glass of wine, or my favorite desserts!


But what I did DO was work hard when I was doing my workouts. This is something I cannot stress enough if you get your butt to the gym PUT IN THE WORK!


Below is my progression from just days after birth to the present day!








Do you miss the body you had before kids? Before you got married? Or just from when you were younger and more "supple"?


We all do and you are not alone! But let change those feelings. What is it that stops you from reaching these goals?

  • Time?

  • Tired?

  • Don't know where to start?

  • Don't know what to eat?

Is it one of these things? or maybe it's all of them? Either way, IT'S OKAY! I got you.

What I do for my clients is create a timeline goals and game plan. This will include things like:

  • Milestone Goals

  • Likes and dislikes of foods

  • Home workouts or Gym workouts

  • Indoor/Outdoor workouts

  • Long or short workouts

  • Overall Goal

This sets you up for success by asking questions like "what is my overall goal"? "How do I overcome cravings"? "How do I overcome a lack of motivation"?

All of these things trick our brains into saying "I'll start tomorrow". NO! YOU WILL START TODAY!


I am a mom of twin girls (22 months) I had one in the hospital for almost 10 months of her life due to congenital heart disease. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!
